Project Overview
NYC All Glass replaced the full street-level storefront glazing at this Citizens Bank branch, along with a new glass canopy over the entrance. Large-format tempered glass panels were set into the existing black-framed curtain wall system, restoring a clean, fully transparent front that matches Citizens’ branch design standards and signature green signage.
Large-Format Glass, Installed with Precision Equipment
The oversized storefront panels were lifted into place using a robotic vacuum glass lift, supported by scaffolding along the upper storefront band. That combination let the crew set each panel precisely against the frame without the panel edges ever touching or scraping — the standard NYC All Glass uses for large-format commercial glazing.
Built Around a Working Bank Branch
Because the branch stayed open to customers for much of the project, the glazing work was staged and sequenced around business hours, with street-level protection and scaffolding used to keep the sidewalk and entrance safe throughout the installation.
