Frameless Shower Glass & Custom Mirror — Tribeca Apartment

A frameless glass shower enclosure and a backlit custom mirror, built around the exact angles of a Tribeca apartment bathroom. Shower glass and mirror installation is one of the projects NYC All Glass handles most often, and this one shows why: precise templating, matte black hardware, and a finish that looks built-in rather than added on.

A Frameless Enclosure Built Around the Room’s Angles

This Tribeca bathroom called for a corner shower enclosure with an angled return panel, the kind of layout where a stock shower door simply won’t work. NYC All Glass field-measured every wall, tile line, and marble tub ledge, then fabricated frameless tempered glass panels to follow the room’s exact geometry, with clean, tight seams where the glass meets the marble and tile.

Matte black hinges, a full-length pull handle, and a matching black rain shower head were chosen to match the bathroom’s existing plumbing fixtures, so the enclosure reads as one cohesive design rather than a glass box dropped into the space. The panels are edge-polished and installed with minimal hardware, keeping the sightline through the glass as unbroken as possible.

A Statement Mirror to Match

Above the double vanity, NYC All Glass installed a custom backlit LED mirror sized to the full width of the marble counter. The mirror reflects the shower enclosure and the room’s natural light, making the bathroom feel noticeably larger, and the integrated LED edge lighting gives the space a soft, even glow that stock builder-grade mirrors can’t match.
